Upgrading to 3.0 Questions

Hello WXUsers,


Long time listener, first time caller. I ran into some performance
issues that I've seen in the thread *Re:* Mac OS X Fonts Messages in syslog and
I'm thinking an upgrade to wxPython3.0-osx-cocoa-py2.7 may be
necessary--I'm assuming the changes Stefan made were included in this
version--I understand that the error is pretty much non-critical, but would
just like to get past the eye sore and explore some of the newer 3.0
features. I'm wondering how this will affect my current code and if anyone
could provide any feedback? I checked the migration guide on the wxPython
wiki, but it looks like this mostly covers 2.8 to 2.9 instead to 3.0.
Luckily, I'm not in too deep in development right now and just writing some
small GUIs and following some of the Zetcode tutorials and the Cookbook. If
someone could point me to a resource that I can check out or provide any
comments, that would be greatly appreciated.

3.0 is just the latest 2.9, so I think this guide is the best source of
information. This list is mostly C++-oriented and many changes at C++ level
won't affect you at all, and personally I don't think I can really add much
to it.
