My apologies for any spam but I did ask privately in advance of sending
this email and was given approval. I have a wxWidgets project to freelance
out, details below. If you are interested, then please mail me off-list.

/////

We have a native C++ application that uses wxWidgets and we are interested
in adding support for a third party .NET library. We wish to outsource this
task.
Once the project has been awarded, the freelancer will be directed to the
.NET library website where they will be able to download an evaluation
version.

For proof of implementation, the following source code is required:
- The user will need to create an application containing a wxApp, a wxFrame
and a wxNotebook.
- A wxPanel must be used to completely contain an instance of the .NET
renderer. The final application must contain a series of these panels
inside the wxNotebook.
- A wxToolBar should be created as a member of the wxFrame, containing
buttons which will allow:
-- adding a new .NET renderer panel instance to the notebook
-- drawing a 2D circle in the panel that currently has focus
- Inside a currently active panel, pressing a keyboard button will hide or
show a floating toolbar that is a member of the panel. This toolbar will
allow:
-- drawing a 2D square to that panel
- The application will contain a "File -> Open" menu to open a compatible
file provided by us to be opened and displayed in an instance of the
renderer.

The application must be created using Visual Studio 2012.
You will be expected to produce 32-bit and 64-bit debug and release build
versions of code.
You will be expected to produce a high quality of code and to adhere to our
coding standards.
You will be expected to submit your code for review prior to its being
accepted. We will test it using 64-bit Windows 7.
We will be available during UK office hours and you will be expected to be
able to work on this project without excessive amounts of supervision.

I would also like to add that we would see this work as the beginning of a
number of such projects over time, so we are interested in finding someone
to whom we could regularly outsource projects.
